This cooler kit is ideal for track cars which need lots of extra cooling, road going NA cars that have been fitted with a turbo or drift cars which spend lots of time at high RPM with very little front end air flow. Once most oil gets over 300 degrees F it begins to loose it’s lubricating properties, this causes excessive engine wear and will eventually lead to engine failure. This cooler will help to prevent this problem. This cooler does not feature a thermostat and overcooling oil can also cause problems so it is best practice to fit an oil temp gauge to be sure, the sandwich plate in this kit has 2 x 1/8″ NPT ports which allows you to fit oil temp or/and oil pressure gauges. Blanking plugs are supplied if required.
