Bought this two years ago and it's served me good, camera battery still holds a good charge and solar panel does a very good job charging the camera. I've never had to take down the camera to charge it, just make sure the solar panel is positioned in a very good spot to capture as much direct sun light as possible. You will need to supply your own micro SD memory card. I had a 32gb in the camera, but you can either use smaller or larger up to 128gb.
