Marx's Critical Concept of Science. Preprint 10. Based on a Talk given to the Bo
A good and very clean copy. - From the introduction: The use of 'critical' in my title contains a double entendre, a play on two meanings of the word: 1) It calls to mind Marx's general method: from critique of texts to an understanding and critique of the social reality behind them. Four of Marx's major works include the word in their title (A Critique of Hegel's Philosophy of Law, The Holy Family: A Critique of Critical Criticism, A Contribution to the Critique of Political Economy and Capital: A Critique of Political Economy)-, I shall discuss his application of the critical method to political economy, in particular his critique of the role of the natural sciences under capitalism.
